LIL 22-year-old fiddler and vocalist, Lillian Chase, grew up enveloped in the old-time and bluegrass scene in and around Asheville, North Carolina. Her early love for traditional mountain music led her to take up the fiddle at the age of six, and by that time she had already been asking for a violin for two years. Lillian’s fiddling draws from both old-time and bluegrass styles, and she placed 4th in the 2022 Open Old-Time Fiddle Contest at Clifftop. She has performed at well-known southern venues including Merlefest and Song of the Mountains, and studied fiddle with masters including Arvil Freeman, Brittany Haas, and Bruce Molsky. She is now studying Music Performance with a minor in American Roots Music at Berklee College of Music in Boston. ROSA Rosa Joe Jacobs is a Brooklyn-bred, Boston-based songwriter and musician. While her songs draw from folk traditions, Rosa is less interested in fitting within genre boundaries and far more devoted to creating music that makes people feel connected. She is currently a student at Berklee College of Music. Rosa is also working on her debut project, a collection of original songs, set to release in 2026. Together, Lillian and Rosa blend new songs and old-time sounds, delivering sets filled with sweet vocal harmonies and driving fiddle tunes. Brought together by joyous friendship, the two bring a radiant, open-hearted energy to the stage.
